Get picked up by your guide at your accommodation in Barcelona. Enjoy the comfort of a private minivan for you and your small group. Together embark on an exciting adventure to discover the most symbolic, representative and beautiful corners of Costa Brava, located in the northeast of Catalonia and bathed by the waves of the gorgeous Mediterranean Sea.
Between visits enjoy panoramic views, stopping at several viewpoints to take pictures with the magnificent natural landscape, which blends bright greens with the wonderful turquoise blue of the sea.
Accompanied by your expert guide, start your journey through time at the archeological remains of Empúries, a very important old city on the Mediterranean coast. Here discover ancient Greek and Roman ruins and learn about how these people once lived.
Follow their footsteps as you explore their city, their streets, houses, temples and markets.
Next, visit Sant Martí d’ Empúries, a small town built next to one of the most important ports of the Roman Empire. The place remains a medieval town today, with a conserved wall and narrow, picturesque alleys.
Travel from Sant Martí d’Empúries to Estartit, the principal port and one of the most popular diving destinations of Costa Brava, boarding a ship to the Medes Islands. The trip will take around an hour and a half, during which time you will discover the stunning biodiversity of flora and fauna native to this archipelago, known for having one of the best marine reserves of the western Mediterranean.
The Medes Islands is an archipelago of 7 islands, part of the Natural Park of Montgrí. These islands hold the secrets of a fascinating history, as a place where pirates were marooned after surviving shipwrecks at sea.
Finally, take the chance to dive into the crystalline waters of a hidden cove, surrounded by the magnificent natural landscape of Costa Brava.
Walk through some of the most representative and charming fishermen’s towns of the region, which combine an ancient tradition with the modernity of today. Explore the labyrinth of narrow streets and corners that hide a very long and rich history.
